10 animated 2D units with their own effects + free music

An imperial legion, designed as one set: a brazier acolyte, a scutum bastion, two augurs, a pilum thrower, a pitch slinger, a hand-ballista, a pavise hauler, an ember matron and a siege tribune. Every unit is animated and ships with its effect kits as separate transparent layers, so your attacks, hits and deaths look finished the day you drop them in.

WHAT'S INSIDE

• 10 units, side view, facing right (mirror for left)
• 4 animations each: idle (loop), walk (loop), attack, hit, at 24 fps
• 32 effect kits: attack, hit and death for every unit, plus signature effects for the bosses, as transparent layers you can time, recolour or swap
• 2 looping backgrounds: Forum Ruins at Dusk and Frontier Fort Gate, mp4 with poster frames
• animations.json: frame counts, timing, loop flags, feet pivot and the exact frame each effect attaches on

ENGINE USE

Drop the sheets or frames into Unity, Godot, GameMaker, Phaser, Construct, Defold or any engine that reads PNG. Pivots are at the feet, effects anchor to a documented socket, and all units share one scale and frame size, so one import setting covers the whole pack.

This pack was made with generative AI: the character images (Qwen-Image with the studio style LoRA), the animation clips (Wan 2.2 image-to-video, some newer clips procedural 2D animation), the two looping backgrounds (Wan 2.2) and the music (ACE-Step 1.5, run locally) are AI-generated. The publisher selected every result, cut it out to transparent frames and checked it against a fixed quality gate; effect kits are built by the Unit Forge pipeline from effect textures and procedural particles.
