Card Forge Studio

Your art in. Finished cards out.

Card Forge Studio turns your pictures into finished game cards. Pick a frame, type the name and cost, add a living edge, pick the symbols and export. It runs on your own Windows PC. Your art stays on your computer.

What you get

• 15 edge colours in ready-made sets (faction, clan, classic, tabletop), or set your own glow colour.
• 20 slot symbols. Click a slot on the card and pick: 7 Stats, 6 Damage, 7 Effects symbols. Set the gem colour to match the card or choose your own.
• Place symbols anywhere. Drag any symbol to any spot on the card and make it bigger or smaller with the corner handle, the mouse wheel or the + and - keys, so it fills a frame's empty circle exactly. One click puts it back in its slot, and Undo works. What you see in the editor is exactly what you export.
• 44 frames. Legion, Demon, Undead and Japan sets plus neutral Sovereign and Reliquary frames. Classic, square-window and portrait layouts. Cards come in 4 rarities: Common, Rare, Epic, Hero. Some frames keep one border for every rarity.

• A spreadsheet becomes a deck. Import a CSV (save it from Excel or Google Sheets), match the columns, check the rows, then create the whole deck in one go. Undo if you change your mind.
• Whole-deck work. Add a folder of images at once. Search, select and batch-edit cards in the grid view.
• Print and export. One card as PNG or WebP, a deck ZIP of card images, a sprite atlas, or a print-and-play PDF sheet.
• Checks before export. Preflight warns you about art that is too small for a sharp result.
• Optional AI art with your own key. Connect your own PixelLab or Higgsfield account to make a picture and drop it into a card. Your key stays on your PC. Card Forge works fully without it.
• Starts with examples. A 3-card sample deck and 3 example spreadsheets (board game, tabletop RPG, short example).
• 3 living edges. Flame, Electric and Aura trace the outline of every frame. You set the strength.

What's in the download

• One ZIP (about 368 MB). Unzip the whole folder, then double-click CardForge.exe.
• The app, its own private runtime (nothing else to install), the frames, icons and fonts, the sample deck and example spreadsheets.
• LICENSE.txt and READ ME FIRST.txt next to the exe. Help and credits are inside the app.

 

What you may do with your cards

Make, print, share and sell finished cards, decks, print sheets, games and physical products made with Card Forge, with no royalty per card. You may not resell the frames themselves as an asset pack. Frames are not exclusive to you. Each person or company that uses the app needs its own licence. Full terms are in LICENSE.txt.

Good to know

• Windows 11, 64-bit, with Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome installed. About 490 MB of disk space after unzipping.
• The app is not code-signed. On first start Windows may show "Windows protected your PC": click More info, then Run anyway.
• Living edges glow in the editor. Animated video export (MP4/WebM) is not in this version.
• Some frames, sample cards and icons were made with AI-assisted tools and then edited by hand by Bomy Games.
